1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and EZZYBILL (“EZZYBILL”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you browse this website, buy an EZZYBILL or EZZYBILL++ billing machine, or use the EZZYBILL app and related services (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, placing an order or booking a demo, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Our products & services
EZZYBILL provides billing and shop-management software, including GST invoicing, inventory, returns and credit notes, reports, and WhatsApp bills on supported plans. We also supply EZZYBILL and EZZYBILL++ receipt-printer machines for use with the app.
Features depend on the plan you choose. Descriptions, images and screenshots on this website are for illustration and may differ slightly from the product you receive.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law, or act on behalf of a business that is.
- You must give accurate, current information when you register, order or contact us.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Orders, pricing & payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). Prices shown on the website are offers that may change; the price confirmed on your order or invoice is the price that applies to you.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices may be inclusive or exclusive of GST as shown at checkout or on your quotation. GST will be shown separately on your tax invoice.
- An order is accepted only when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example because of a pricing error, limited stock or suspected misuse, and will refund any amount you have already paid for it.
- Payment must be made through the methods we offer. Third-party payment providers handle card and UPI details under their own terms; we do not store your full card details.
- Subscription or plan fees, where applicable, are billed in advance for the period you select and are non-refundable except as set out in Section 5 or required by law.
5. Delivery, returns & warranty
We aim to dispatch machines promptly and will share an estimated delivery time when you order. Delivery dates are estimates, and delays caused by couriers or events beyond our control are not a breach of these Terms.
Please inspect your machine on delivery and tell us within a reasonable time, and no later than the period stated on your invoice, if it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered. We will repair, replace or refund the item as appropriate.
Hardware carries the manufacturer’s warranty stated on your invoice or product packaging. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, liquid, unauthorised repair or modification, or the use of unsuitable paper, cables or power supplies. Consumables such as thermal paper rolls are not covered.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.
6. Software licence
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the EZZYBILL app for your own business operations. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including issuing false invoices or evading tax;
- interfere with or disrupt the Services, our servers or networks, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them;
- upload malware, or send spam through the WhatsApp or other messaging features;
- use automated tools to scrape the website or overload it; or
- infringe the rights of others, including their privacy and intellectual property.
8. Your business data
You own the business data you enter into EZZYBILL, such as products, prices, customers, bills and stock records. You give us permission to store, process and back up that data only as needed to run the Services for you, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
The app keeps working offline and syncs when the internet returns. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for making sure you have the right to share any customer details you enter, including customer phone numbers used for WhatsApp bills.
9. Tax & legal compliance
EZZYBILL helps you prepare invoices and reports, but you remain solely responsible for the accuracy of the tax rates, HSN/SAC codes, prices and other details you enter, and for meeting your own GST, accounting, record-keeping and other legal obligations. Our reports are not tax, legal or accounting advice. Please consult a qualified professional where needed.
10. Reviews you submit
If you send a review through this website, you confirm it is truthful and based on your own experience. You allow us to publish it, together with your name and shop name, on our website and marketing material. Reviews are checked before publication, and we may edit for length or remove any review at our discretion. You can ask us to delete your review at any time.
11. Intellectual property
The EZZYBILL name, logo, website, app, text, graphics and designs belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. You may not use our branding without our written permission.
12. Availability & changes
We work to keep the Services available and secure, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, update features, or change or discontinue parts of the Services. Where a change materially affects a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profits, sales, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product or plan giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify us against claims and losses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Services.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Services in a way that harms us or others. On termination, your licence ends and you should export any data you need, for example as CSV from the reports screen. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, liability and governing law, will continue to apply.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. If we cannot, the courts at our registered place of business in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable law.
